An invitation to retreat inwards and anchor to Papatūānuku (Mother Earth).
The 2020 tour combines the energy of Salvador Brown as he weaves the sounds of Moana nui a Kiwa, the Pacific, into the flow experience as Jock and Taane curate the class with the intention of creating community through wellness as they bring this tour to the hearts of Aotearoa. Experience a unique 90-minute practice that will incorporate yoga, mediation, Taonga Puoro (musical instrument), and Waiata (song).

You will practice yoga 6 days a week and meditate daily while observing areas in your life that are blocking your greatness. Dedicate 40 days to deepening your practice, strengthening your meditation and cleansing your body. About the 40 Days to Personal Revolution

40 Days to Personal Revolution was developed by Baron Baptiste, founder of the Baptiste Institute. Baron created this program to guide people into transforming their lives through Yoga Practice, Meditation, and Inquiry.

Inquiry
Weekly meetings: every Tuesday 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Weekly meetings are where we gather to practice inquiry in areas of your life that you most want to improve. You will be held accountable and supported every step of the way.

Freedom of Movement

Specialty Class

This 45 minute specialty class is about exploring movement and giving you the opportunity to be free and feel good in your body. It will be a fun way to let go and move your body in a way of tuning in deeper to yourself. 

Cushla comes from a large movement background, studying ballet from the age of 5, completing a Bachelor of Performance Arts, Majoring in Contemporary Dance from Unitec and working with dance companies and New Zealand choreographers. Using her knowledge, experience and background in dance, Cushla invites you to let go, feel good in your body and move freely without having to look a particular way.
Be prepared to let go of how you look, let go of structure and simply move, get silly, wiggle a little and shake a lot Expect to be moving freely the whole time, be free and release. 

You'll finish the session feeling great!

Transitions Workshop

This two-hour transitions Workshop will give you the tools you need to practise your transitions with confidence. Chaturanga dandasana or a “yogic push-up” is a foundational pose in Baptiste Yoga and traditional Sun Salutations.  This workshop will break down the basics of chaturanga, and provide you with tips and tools to amplify your chaturanga practice. You will explore the flow and fundamentals of low plank (Chaturanga Dandasana), upward facing dog (Urdhva Mukha Svanasana), and downward facing dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana). You will also take part in valuable partner work to help with awareness and stability in your chaturanga. 

All levels are welcome. This workshop will be particularly helpful for those new to Basecamp or new to power yoga. In addition to experienced practitioners to go back to the basic and uplevels your transitions. 

Be prepared to sweat! You will be moving and flowing. Bring your mat, towel, and water bottle. 

Leave feeling empowered.

Rest + Restore

This 90-minute Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra experience is designed to provide the much-needed rest and restoration for the busy yogi. Our nervous systems are constantly stimulated and can lead to adrenal fatigue and depletion. Without rest, we experience plateaus in our physical practice and general fatigue in our lives. This is your opportunity to slow down to speed up!

Come in your cozy clothes ready to receive this passive practise. You will be supported by props to allow your body and mind to fully surrender. This practise is the ultimate expression of self-love.

Get Upside Down!

A Handstand Workshop

Taught by James Anson-Holland

This is an invigorating two-hour workshop designed to elevate your inversion practice.

The focus of this session will be entirely on developing your handstand from the ground up. It will also provide you with an opportunity to explore transitions through, into, and out of handstand. You will build strength, develop technique, and gain confidence in a safe and fun environment.

A familiarity with power yoga and inversions is recommended for this workshop, however all are welcome to attend.
